this is the only serious post i'll ever do
i remember the day that i met you, i was almost positive that you couldn't tell your ass from your elbow and all i knew about you was that you were crazy but all i wanted to do was be there to help. i felt pretty helpless, constantly on the outside looking in at the mess that your family left behind but you always made it clear that i was helping. i don't think you need that much help anymore. you're more of an adult than i am, married and as sane as you're ever going to get. i'm not going to call you my best friend because that isn't what you are. you're pretty much my brother, i love you so much and i'm really more than content with just knowing you. i'll always be there if you need me, you know where to find me, and thanks for letting me be there. happy birthday, adam. |
